Pride of the Lakeland Update 2010
Kurt Bensmiller was the Pride of the Lakeland's 2009 driver. Kurt along with his family joined the Pride of the Lakeland members for a social on Saturday evening. A wonderful BBQ was hosted by the members. The meal was provided by Hamel's Meat Market & beverages by Bonnyville Liquor Store. The Wagon Train band played for the evening which was shortened by the storm that blew in around 10:00pm. Strong winds forced the social evening to end due to safety reasons.
Pride of the Lakeland member Al Stephenson was kind enough to provide P.O.T.L. pins for the 2009 members. Thanks Al.
2010 Pride of the Lakeland driver is Rick Fraser. Once again a social is scheduled for Saturday evening in the Tuboscope Infield Hosting Tent. Hamel's Meat Market will be providing the supper & Bonnyville Liquor Store the refreshments.
FKB band will be entertaining the members for the evening.
